Council for the first time participated in the show with a promotional booth. This was primarily to explore the market for Indian gems & jewellery in that region. A presentation in Vilnius was organized during the jewellery exhibition "Amber Trip"to promote Indian jewellery industry in general, IIJS 2007 & the BSM in Mumbai. Additionally, information in Lithuanian language about the presentation was distributed to almost all booths at the exhibition. The presentation was made by Shri Haresh Zaveri, Co-Convener, IIJS Subcommittee and was attended by 40 persons. The presentation was translated into Lithuanian and films were shown in Russian. Participants received sets of information material on Indian jewellery industry and IIJS 2007. 4 new participants were registered for the BSM (1 From Lithuania, 3 from Poland). A local model, dressed in traditional Indian attire & jewellery was also deputed to promote Indian Jewellery at the show.
